Types of Membership


The YMCA of Georgia's Piedmont offers many types of membership options to suit your needs. If you live in Barrow, Franklin, Hart, Walton, Jackson, or Elbert counties, please call us today to find out more about our programs.

Branch PLUS membership allows full membership privileges to the Winder Barrow Branch, Bell Family Branch, and the Riverwalk Branch. Visit all 3 YMCA's in the Piedmont Association with unlimited access to fitness programming, community services, youth sports, and much more!

Youth/Teen Membership
Youth
- A child from infant to 12 years of age. Under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Teen - A person 13-18 years
Members 15 and older can gain access to full facility without an adult, but must have a membership card.
Teens ages 13 & 14 must be wearing a Teen Fitness Badge while working out.
Adult Membership
A person 19 - 64 years of age.
Single Family Membership
An unmarried parent with children All family members under the age of 21 living at home and claimed for tax purposes by head of household.
Family Membership
Two traditional married adults over 18 and living at the same residence. Unlimited number of dependants under 21 living at home and claimed for tax purposes by head of household.

AOA (Active Older Adult) Membership
A person age 65 and over.

**The YMCA of Georgia's Piedmont participates in the Silversneakers Fitness program. Contact your Medicare Insurance to find out if you qualify!

AOA (Active Older Adult) Family Membership
Two married adults with one 65 or older living at the same residence.

New Member Social - Meet other New Members at our monthly socials. This is a great time to come and learn about the YMCA and its programs while meeting others. Give us a call to find out when the next New Member social is scheduled.

Exceptions to Family and AOA Family Memberships: Full-time students taking 12 or more credit hours in any post high school program living at the residence and claimed as dependants. A student I.D. or current class schedule and I.D. showing current address are required. Or any individuals with documented physical or mental disabilities living at the residence or legal dependants. Proof is required.
