Now I'm spelling LYFE with a "Y"I am 37 years old & was very addicted to pain medication for several years. Wanting to regain my life, I stopped the medication & went through withdrawal. I wanted to replace all the bad things I had done to my body with good. I called to find out about the services the YMCA offered. I spoke with Amy, who was very helpful. I knew from that conversation, I had something to look forward to. I love the Y! My muscles are sore some, but I'm grateful I'm not number & can feel. As I sweat I think, I am releasing the toxins. I am so grateful for the YMCA. It gave my something to look forward to during a tough time in my life, & now I enjoy it on a day to day basis. I love that it combines Spirit, Mind, & Body because my spirit was broken, my mind confused, & my body in need of repair. It was indeed a catalyst in helping me get my life back, and that is why I spell LYFE with a "Y". | |||||||||
