Financial Development

The YMCA's ability to fulfill its mission depends on the generous gifts and contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Membership and program fees alone do not cover all costs to support these vital community programs. To ensure that no one is denied the chance to participate because of inability to pay, we truly need your help.

Your generous support will subsidize YMCA program and membership fees for less-advantaged, local kids and families who are referred to by our county agencies, schools, parents, and others. Our Georgia's Piedmont YMCA serves the areas of Barrow, Elbert, Hart, Jackson, Walton and Franklin counties.

Your gift can give a child swimming lessons, let them play a season of soccer or basketball, provide a 1-year membership for a single family, sponsor a family membership, or even give multiple children a week at summer camp!
The money raised is used in two ways:
1. Help keep fees affordable for all programs
2. Provides scholarships for those who cannot afford the fees we do charge.
