This is an informative meeting on what you and your child can expect for our Explorers, Summer Day Camp, and LIT Programs.

Explorers Program:

Children who are rising Kindergarteners will experience a camp of their own. Their day will be filled with themed style activites that include: arts and crafts, active games, character development, story time/devotions, and daily swim.

Lunch and snack will be provided.

Summer Day Camp:

The YMCA Summer Day Camp is a perfect solution to parents looking for a safe, fun, and affordable summer experience for their child.

Campers are grouped together by grade, and their days are filled with fun age appropriate activites that include arts and crafts, physical activites, games, character development, devotions, and daily swim time.

Lunch and snack will be provided.

Cost:

Group of kidsRegistration Fee: $35 (one time)

Day Camp Rising Kindergarten - 9th Grade:

Members: $115/week Non-Members: $135/week

Payment Options:

  1. Automatic Draft - Weekly amount will be drafted from a credit card or bank account (EFT) on the Wednesday before the week attending.
  2. Weekly payment - The weekly amount is to be paid the Wednesday before the week attending at the Front Desk. Failure to pay by Friday, your child's spot may be lost. See Parent Handbook for details.

Scholarship Program:

Through the generosity of our members, staff, board and community donors, the Brad Akins YMCA is able to offer scholarships to families who are not able to afford the regular weekly fees for summer camp. If you need financial assistance, you will need to fill out and turn in a Scholarship Application at least two weeks prior to your child(ren) starting in our program.
