2020 Registration begins: FEBRUARY 27th

The YMCA Summer Day Camp is a perfect solution to parents looking for a safe, fun and affordable summer experience for their child.The YMCA staff work hard to provide an exciting and high quality program in a Christian-oriented environment. Campers are grouped together by grade (just completed) and their days are filled with fun, age appropriate activities that include: arts and crafts, physical activities and games, character development and devotions, field trips and daily swim time.

Summer Camp Registration Due to Covid-19:

We are licensed by the State of Georgia. As of April 8th, the State is working on policies for camps and childcare for the summer months. In order to register, you may register online or scroll to the bottom of this page to download the Summer Camp Registration form. If you have more than one child, please fill out a form for each. Once the form(s) are complete, please email them to our Program Director at amy@gapiemontymca.org. Once it has been decided that camp can operate, your registration form will be processed at that time, and you will be charged a registration fee. If no payment information is given, your camp registration will not be processed.

Day Camp Dates & Times:

Tentavily: June 1 - July 30th (These dates could change due to Covid-19)

7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Early Drop-Off is available from 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM for an additional fee of $15/week

Cost: Registration Fee: $30 (one time)

Day Camp Ages 5-12:
Members: $100.00/week Non-Members: $115/week
*** Price includes activities and field trips.

Payment Options:
1. Automatic Draft - Weekly amount will be drafted from a credit card or bank account (EFT) on the Friday before the week attending.
2. Weekly payment - The weekly amount is to be paid the Friday before the week attending.

Scholarship Program:
Through the generosity of our members, staff, board and community donors, the Brad Akins YMCA is able to offer scholarships to families who are not able to afford the regular weekly fees for summer camp. If you need financial assistance, you will need to fill out and turn in a Scholarship Application at least two weeks prior to your child(ren) starting in our program.
